Content Description

A test paper from the Qing Dynasty for the Imperial Examination held in Beijing in 1894. The examination was given in the Royal Palace and Emperor Guangxu personally presided over the test. The candidate, Chai Pu, passed the exam and was later appointed to a magistrate post.
