Scope and content

Seven black books documenting different points in DOMS' long career, containing tags, fill-ins done in market, pen, paint pen, etc. with stickers, cut outs, and photographs glued in, and pages directly airbrushed. The books contain art by DOM and members of his Knock Out Crew, including associated writer DESA.

Abstract

The core of the collection is a series of rare soundboard recordings of live performances taken directly from the soundboard, also party flyers.

Scope and content

Audio Visual material preserves the broadcasts of Graffiti New York and other NYC area graffiti and street art events. The archive is comprised of video tapes, DVDs, event flyers, press releases, and photographs. 137 mini DV's, 6 (unknown), 106 VHF tapes, 3 Hi 8 tapes, 2 DV cam tapes; 6 (GRAFFITI NYC TV SHOW ) DVD's, approximately 50 flyers, 10 pamphlets and booklets, 3 covers, 12 press releases, 4 artist profiles, and 25 photographs.

Abstract A collection of more than 150 individual, hand-drawn and printed street stickers, circa 2008-2011, the majority of which are unpeeled. The collection includes artwork by New York City street and sticker artists Kosby, Cost, Faust, Rednose, Robots Will Kill, 5003, Overconsumer, Snoe Man, Back Fat, Crasty, and many others.
