Includes a chemistry laboratory notebook, 1921-1922; samples (swatches); notes and recipes for various dyes and pastes, some from Rhode Island State College, Kingston, R.I.; and correspondence, 1931, to Cook at Uncas Finishing Co. from Rohm and Haas Co., Philadelphia, concerning chemicals and discharge work on vat colors. Also includes correspondence, 1936, from National Aniline and Chemical Co., New York City, with a dye recipe included.
