Scope and Contents
The James F. Townsend Papers includes a time book from an unidentified mill. The book has "Weaving" written on the flyleaf and lists workers' names and the number of days each worked, 1847-1875, 1879-1890. Also contains copies of a few of Townsend's agreements with workers, 1849, 1854, and 1855, giving rates of pay.
