Scope and Contents
This series includes VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, and audio cassettes that document aspects of labor union history in the U.S., including training videos, educational programs, and recordings produced by unions, labor education services, and worker organizations. Topics include major strikes, such as the Pullman Strike of 1894 (Box 5, f35-36) and the 1946 Oakland general strike (Box 4, f11); union campaigns and history; workplace safety; career development, grievance handling; and major historical events, such as the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire (Box 5, f16).
