Scope and Contents
This series contains essays, newspaper and magazine clippings, pamphlets, reprints, interviews, obituaries, and articles documenting the lives and work of prominent labor organizers, educators, activists, and scholars from the early through the late 20th century. Individual folders dedicated to prominent labor leaders and union founders are provided in alphabetical order. Of special interest is a cloth banner of the United Farm Workers, American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (UFW, AFL‑CIO) (Box 1, Folder 34).
