Scope and Contents

This series includes VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, audio cassettes, and a Zip disk that document training sessions, educational programs, union initiatives, and workplace violence and sexual harassment prevention curricula. All the materials are associated with the series to which their content relates. Researchers can consult the Scope and Content note for each series and subseries to identify the specific boxes and folder numbers containing relevant audiovisual items. Of particular note in this series is the films “Everyday Heroes: America's Workers Epic Response to the Attacks of September 11th” (box 8, f10) and “Women of Ground Zero, (box 8 f9), associated with an article KC Wagner co-authored on workers and crisis entitled “Psychosocial Capacity Building in New York: Building resiliency with construction workers assigned to Ground Zero after 9/11”, reflecting her therapeutic work with members of unions assisted in the recovery efforts at the Twin Towers, following the September 11, 2001 attacks. Related to this material is also the construction worker’s hard hat given to KC Wagner to honor her work (in Series VI: Memorabilia, box 6, folder 5).

Conditions Governing Access

From the Collection:

Box 3 folder 12: “Program Development Committee”, box 4 folder 30: “Interviews” and box 2 folder 48: “Correspondence on a sexual harassment case” are restricted due to the presence of personally identifiable information. A researcher‑use, redacted copy of box 2 folder 48 can be found in box 2 folder 20, “Legal cases of sexual harassment”.
