Scope and Contents

Gelatin silver print, 1950-1955. Image depicts Pollock (1899-1982) speaking in front of a microphone at an unknown dinner or meeting, probably in Lawrence, Mass., or the Lawrence area. Pollock wears three-piece suit; another man and woman are seated at the table the right of Pollock. Banner on the wall behind the table reads: "Local 615 David Brown Co."; the David Brown Co. was located in Lawrence, Mass. Written on reverse of photo: "William Pollock Sec't-Treas." which would place it before 1956, as he assumed the presidency of the TWUA in 1956. 20.25 x 25.25 cm.
