Gelatin silver print, ca. 1895. Image depicts a winding machine made by W.D. Huse & Sons, who manufactured knitting machinery in Laconia, N.H. Written on reverse: "Irene C. DeMark" who was the granddaughter of Warren D. Huse, founder of W.D. Huse & Sons. See items 3 and 4 in this folder and items 1-6 in folder 6 for views of different winding machines. 12 x 9 cm. (w/out mount); 16.5 x 14 cm. (w/mount).
