Lawrence Donald "Larry" Clark was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1943 and has worked as a film director, photographer, writer, and film producer best known for the movie Kids and the photography book Tulsa. His work documents illegal drug use, underage sex and violence, and especially youth who are part of specific subcultures like surfing, punk rock or skateboarding.
