Includes tapes and transcripts (not completed for all tapes) of interviews by Matthew Lyons with Azriel Bibliowicz, Alice H. Cook, Scott Glass, Peter Hess, James Jacobs, Harold Kohn, Adeline Levine, Jean McPheeters, Frances Rachel, William Rogers, and Gossa Tsegaye, William Foote Whyte, and Robin M. Williams, Jr. Also includes text of the funeral service by Scott Glass, memorial statement by James Jacobs, and a chronology of Rose Goldsen's life. Major topics include her character and personal outlook; relations with students, co-workers, friends, and relatives; early life and family; approaches to sociology, teaching, and writing; experiences in Latin America; her radio program; Longhouse cooperative membership; attitudes toward community, family, and children; Judaism and Jewish culture; cancer; and her death.
