The Quebec Bridge spans the lower Saint Lawrence River between Sainte-Foy and Levis in Quebec, Canada. The project failed twice during its construction in 1907 and 1916, at the cost of 88 bridgeworkers’ lives, eventually opening in 1919.

The Victoria Bridge (previously known as the Victoria Jubilee Bridge) was the first bridge to span the Saint Lawrence River linking Montreal, Quebec, to the south shore city of Saint-Lambert. Originally named the Great Victoria Bridge in honor of Queen Victoria, it was officially rededicated as the Victoria Jubilee Bridge following renovations in 1897.
