Personal papers of Rod Howe and Mark Pedersen, gay men in a relationship for 32 years (1986-2018) who adopted and parented two sons. Correspondence and other personal writing, photographs, albums, and other files reflect their relationship, their decision-making process regarding becoming fathers that included cross cultural/international adoption, home and places to live and vacation, their advocacy for lesbian and gay people's access to adoption and marriage equality, issues for created families and birth families, mental health, and HIV related material.
