Finch to Ezra Cornell proposing disposition of Cascadilla Place, and suggesting plans for Cornell University and the Cornell Public Library: "But even if your judgment will not carry you as far as this at least I do think that Cascadilla Place should begin the University even if ultimately all the other buildings should be on the North side of the creek."
