Two printed packets of reprinted newspaper articles, with ms. annotations; two copies of a carbonscript biography, each with ms. notes (2 leaves total); offprinted magazine article "Americans Not Everyone Knows: Philippa Duke Schuyler" by Charles W. Ferguson, removed from The PTA Magazine, Dec. 1967 (1 leaf folded to 4 p.); telegram addressed to Josephine Schuyler announcing Philippa Schuyler's death, with ms. notes on verso; cardstock reprint of an article on Schuyler from the Manchester Union Leader, with attached thank-you note from George and Josephine Schuyler; program from a memorial service for Schuyler held at St. Patrick's Cathedral on May 18, 1967 (4 copies, one with 7 leaves of ms. notes enclosed, one with ms. notes on final page); typescript text addressed to "Matthew" on the circumstances of Josephine Schuyler's death (2 leaves); 4 leaves of ms. notes; one photocopied newspaper clipping; and 17 newspaper clippings. Original folder has a "Famous Black Women in American History" trading card attached with a staple.
