Ida Langdon's speech, presenting Twain study to Elmira College. Miss Langdon recalls a day when Mark Twain invited children in to hear and criticize The Prince and the Pauper, which he was then writing. I.L. mentions the many well-behaved people who visited the study, but the difficulty of preserving it from "nature" and "human nature."
