Comite d'Urgence Anti-Repression Homosexuelle, 1980 - 1981
File — Box: 8, Folder: 6
Scope and Contents
One handbill and one flyer. Founded in Paris in July 1979 and went on to become the main national lesbian and gay organization in France in the 1980s. Compared to French gay liberation groups of the 1970s, CUARH was marked by a focus on reformist demands related to the everyday lives of lesbian and gay people and a far lesser emphasis on theory and strict ideological tests.
