Scope and Contents
One button and one sticker. Gay Activist Alliance was founded in New York six months after the more politically and tactically radical Gay Liberation Front which was established immediately following the Stonewall Riots in June 1969. The GAA adopted as its logo the lower-case Greek letter lambda to symbolize the exchange of energy.
