We have enough from the outside.” According to Hodel, there was never an actual boycott, and “there were probably two people [protesting] because everybody loved us.” She believes the protesters were mad because the bouncers sometimes reminded groups of men coming into Club Q that it was a women’s space in order to keep it safe for the community.
